Hi All,

This Sunday (June 5th, 10:30am-1:30pm) I will be working on phase three of my project. Scouts will be needed to help build 4 boardwalks, which will be placed over wetlands and to walk the trail and clear any newly grown brush that wasn’t removed during phase two.

I will meet everyone at Heritage Lane (located off Beechwood) at 10:30 am. If you can’t arrive at start time please call me and I will meet you and take you to the work site.

Please bring gloves,clippers,loppers,and trimmers if owned. I will bring bug spray and advise everyone to wear long pants and shirts.

Scouts will be helping with setting-up, carrying plants to cars, etc.  You do not need to wear your uniform, but a Class B Troop 28 T-shirt would be perfect.   All scouts need to complete service hours for rank advancement–this is a great opportunity to help out and earn those hours (or just help because “a scout is helpful”).  There will be a sign-in sheet for all volunteers on Saturday
