As many of you know, March is typically Merit Badge University (MBU) month where the Mayflower Council provides special programming allowing scouts to earn up to 3 merit badges.  Since the Council is not offering the program this year, we are going to run our own Mini MBU at the scout locker and scouts can sign up online.  Registration Deadline is March 2nd

MBU Dates: Saturday, March 12th and Saturday, April 2nd (must be available on both days)
MBU Location: Scout Locker – Basement in back of Deer Hill school

Troops 28 & 48 are offering a mini Merit Badge University (MBU) allowing scouts to earn up to 3 merit badges. Classes will be limited to 10-12 scouts. We expect scouts can take at least two badges, but possibly three depending on availability. Priority may be given based on rank and age.

Some badges require homework and/or tracking of activities. The three weeks in between sessions will allow scouts to work on homework, prepare speeches, begin tracking (chores for Family Life, fitness for Personal Fitness, or money management for Personal Management), etc.
